Antonio Business Journal’s Community Outreach Health Care Heroes award for 2002. The facilities of DCSSA which include De Paul Family Center, El Carmen Wellness Center and La Mision Family Health Care, were honored for their commitment to provide quality affordable medical, dental, social services and child care services. The recognition was the first for the San Antonio Business Journal honoring 12 people or organizations that are making a significant difference in the lives of many in San Antonio.
